A packed AGM assembled before the female trio that currently constitutes the JOK President, Treasurer and Secretary. They were all duly re-elected although it was a close run thing when Tony was stood against Christine for the prestigious role of President. Duncan stepped down as Newsletter Editor after a productive stint and is succeeded by Seamus. After some disquiet over Beccy's move to another university, CJ was elected to replace her as OUOC Liaison Officer. The only other contested post was that of Social Officer but it was agreed that Jon Skittral probably needed something to cheer him up in such a dry country that he should stay on in the role.
The officers having delivered their reports, it was agreed in any other business to support OUOC's efforts in establishing a trust fund, that the Chasing Sprint still had a role to play, and that Cumpstey should seek a longer pole! The meeting was then rapidly adjourned for drinks and then onwards to an excellent dinner at Café Rouge organised by Dr Fisher (most notable for his absence).
